Who we are
Alchemist Zen is a personal transformation, coaching, complementary wellbeing, Reiki learning and Pyramid Vaastu practice operated by Poonam Jain (“Alchemist Zen”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, contact us, book a call, purchase a service, enrol in a programme, submit a Vaastu enquiry, or communicate with us.
Information we may collect
Depending on the service you choose, we may collect only the information reasonably needed for that purpose, including:
- Identity and contact information: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, city/country and time zone.
- Booking information: preferred date/time, appointment history and communication preferences.
- Personal alignment inputs: date of birth and, where voluntarily provided and relevant, time/place of birth, self-reported goals, challenges, life-area priorities, reflections and session notes.
- Vaastu information: floor plans, property type, approximate location, directions, photographs/videos of the space, key concerns, and relevant details about occupants or business owners that you choose to provide.
- Learning information: programme enrolment, course progress, workshop attendance and feedback.
- Payment information: payment status, amount, transaction/reference ID and related billing information. Online payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Instamojo. We do not need to store your full card, UPI or banking credentials on our website.
- Website information: device/browser details, pages visited, cookies and analytics information if analytics tools are enabled.
Why we use your information
- respond to enquiries and help you choose an appropriate service;
- schedule and deliver consultations, coaching, Reiki learning, Vaastu analysis and other services;
- personalise recommendations based on the information you have chosen to share;
- process payments, refunds, invoices and accounting records;
- send booking confirmations, service updates and essential communications;
- send newsletters, programme announcements or offers only where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by applicable law;
- improve our website, services, customer experience and security;
- meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution requirements.
Consent and your choices
Where we rely on consent, we aim to request it in clear language for a specific purpose. You may withdraw consent for optional processing or marketing communications by contacting us at poonam@alchemistzen.com . Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out or information we must retain for legal, accounting or contractual reasons.
Payments and third-party platforms
Payments may be processed through Instamojo. Recorded/self-paced courses may be delivered through Graphy. We may also use service providers for scheduling, email, hosting, forms, analytics and communication. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices. We receive only the information needed to confirm and administer your transaction or service.
WhatsApp, social media and external links
If you contact us through WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube or another third-party platform, your use of that platform is also governed by its own privacy terms. Our website may link to third-party stores, course pages, payment pages or social profiles. Alchemist Zen does not control those third-party privacy practices.
Sharing of personal data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information only with service providers that help us operate the business, with professional advisers where necessary, or with authorities when required by applicable law. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security or prevent fraud.
International processing
Some technology providers may process or store information outside India. Where this occurs, we use such providers subject to their contractual/privacy terms and applicable Indian law.
How long we keep information
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, follow-up, legitimate business records, legal/accounting requirements, dispute resolution and security. When information is no longer needed, we may securely delete or anonymise it.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the size and nature of the practice. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary highly sensitive information through open messaging channels.
Children and minors
Where a service is intended for or involves a person under 18, a parent or legal guardian should contact us and provide the necessary consent. We do not knowingly seek to collect a child’s personal data directly without appropriate parental/guardian involvement where required.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion/erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent, or raise a grievance about how your data is handled. You may also ask how to exercise any other rights available under applicable Indian data-protection law.
Cookies and analytics
The production website may use essential cookies and, if enabled, analytics cookies to understand website usage. The developer should implement an appropriate cookie notice/consent mechanism if non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are used.
